A process where we work with employers, employees and their GP/ specialists to facilitate the employees return to productive work after accidents or periods of illness. This may include the use of our structured allowing, where appropriate a graded return to workplace fitness following significant accidents or illnesses.

Example Include:

1. Where a person may be on a long NHS waiting list we can work with all parties concerned to look at suitable modifications to the current role or suitable alternative work pending the appointment.
2. Considering the cost benefit analysis of a private referral, e.g. in cases of stress or work-related skin problems, musculoskeletal issues etc. We use specially chosen pragmatic consultants to provide definitive answers to specific questions.

In line with our policy we routinely see:

  • All people who have been off sick for 4 weeks.
  • People who have had an accident at work.
  • People who have certified sickness with stress/anxiety/depression within 2 weeks. Ideally we would like to identify these people before they go off sick where that issue becomes easier to address.issue becomes easier to address. Our policy of rapid intervention and referral to cognitive behavioural therapy has proved very cost effective for our clients.
